OverviewAn easy to read, user-friendly crash course in autism and the various treatments that exist for it. For too long the books about autism have fallen into two categories: 1.Books that are scientifically sound but too technical, long-winded, and difficult to understand. 2.Books that are interesting and accessible, but woefully inaccurate. By the time you finish reading this book you will have a better understanding of what autism is, which treatments do and do not work, how to help your child, and which government-funded resources are out there to help your family (in the United States).
