He has dedicated his career to social work for nearly two decades. He also served 22 years in the US Navy (honorably retired in 2021). He spent some years as an Accountant, Comptroller, Teacher, and HR Chief-Deputy of Training at the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. He still works as a Counselor at the Erie County Department of Social Services. In addition, he has been an Adjunct Instructor at various universities, where he occasionally teaches courses related to Spanish linguistics, Business, or Public Administration. At twelve, he crafted the script ""In Duarte's Homeland,"" a theater piece in three acts. Four years later, a short story, ""The Bus Back Home."" A tale of two young HS seniors lost in a bus transfer within the public transportation system of the Dominican Republic. In 2015, Stress in the US Military Reserve, and in 2024, My Buddy Bali.
