Author Information

Larissa H. Rhone is an award-winning advocate, speaker, and third-generation sexual abuse survivor. She is the founder of Journey 2 Free, a survivor-led international movement focused on empowering survivors to reassign the shame by speaking and using their voices and stories (individually and collectively) as a tool in preventing, interrupting, and healing from child sexual abuse. Larissa organizes and facilitates an annual retreat for young survivors in her home country (Jamaica) and aspires to mobilize survivors and supporters in the fight to end child sexual abuse. Tina Foster currently serves the Middle School population as a Teen Program Coordinator. She facilitates workshops that promote self-awareness, autonomy, and emotional and social wellness. She specializes in Youth Development, which she has worked in for the past six years, and has several training certificates from the classroom and behavioral management in being trauma-informed.
