OverviewAs a six-year-old child learning about the world, Julia felt profound loneliness and a pervasive emptiness in her heart. She realized that even though she was surrounded by people, she still felt alone, and that her feelings of emptiness and loneliness were spiritual in nature. She lived in the same house as her grandmother, three older sisters, three cousins, and three uncles. Despite the happiness and love that permeated the entire house, Julia felt lonely. Julia never told anyone about her loneliness because she felt no one could understand or describe what was going on. She suffered in silence from loneliness and misery until she was a teenager and made a breakthrough.
