Paul Fouad was born in Glasgow, Scotland and spent his formative years in the 70's and 80's, in The Pas, Manitoba. His first book, 'Must Have a Sense of Advenure' tells the story of his family's life in Canada, and the enchantment of a small, northern place. He lives in Calgary, Alberta with his wife Tina and adult children, Luke and Erin. He is a business consultant and keen outdoorsman.
