ist Assistant Professor der Musikwissenschaft an der Hebräischen Universität Jerusalem. Von 2009 bis 2011 lehrte er als Visiting Efroymson Scholar am Institut für jüdische, islamische und nahöstliche Sprachen und Kulturen an der Washington University in St. Louis; von 2011 bis 2014 war er Schusterman Visiting Assistant Professor der Musikwissenschaft und Jüdischen Studien am Institut für Religionswissenschaften der University of Virginia. Sein Buch Jewish Contiguities and the Soundtrack of Israeli History wurde mit dem Joel Engel Prize (2015) und dem Jordan Schnitzer Book Award (2016) ausgezeichnet. übersetzt vorwiegend wissenschaftliche Literatur aus dem Englischen und Französischen.
