Author Information

Dirk Reynders, PhD, is a lecturer, writer, and cultural critic focused on visual culture, gender, and ethnicity. He leads inclusive research and curricula, and edits volumes on fashion, arts and queer culture. His forthcoming books explore masculinity in contemporary media and design. Priscilla Van Even, PhD, is a researcher, lecturer, and museum educator working at the intersections of knowledge translation, meaningful interactions, and epistemic diversity. Her work draws on co-creative methods and active engagement with diverse publics, with the aim of amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering inclusive dialogue. Jennifer A. Scott, is a curator, anthropologist and public historian, and her work explores connections between museums, arts, history and social justice. She is the founding executive director and chief curator of the Urban Civil Rights Museum in Harlem and an associate professor at The New School in New York, USA.
