Carole Gibbons' (b. 1935 Glasgow, Scotland) work has been the subject of recent solo exhibitions at White Columns, New York (2024), Hales, London (2024), and Céline, Glasgow (2023). Her paintings are held in collections across the United Kingdom including: the National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh; City Art Centre, Edinburgh; Glasgow Museums; Inverness Museum and Art Gallery; Hunterian Art Gallery, Glasgow; Aberdeen Art Gallery; Low Parks Museum, Hamilton; The Argyll Collection, Oban; and Leeds Museums and Galleries. Gibbons' debut monograph was published in 2023 by 5b.
