This book ""Musalman Aurat ka Parda aur Libas"" is written by well-known religious scholar Maqsood ul Hasan Faizi, in which he explains the definition, requirements and reasons of the veil for Muslim women. Purdah (the veil) for a woman is a clear command of Islamic Shari'ah and its purpose is also very clear. The requirement of Islam's strict prohibition on the complete separation of non-mahram men and women from each other and their mutual mixing is that if a woman has to leave the house and pass in front of strange men, she should cover herself. عورت کے لیے پردہ اسلامی شریعت کا ایک واضح حکم ہے اور اس کا مقصد بھی بالکل واضح ہے۔ غیرمحرم مرد و عورت کی ایک دوسرے سے مکمل علیحدگی اور ان کے باہمی اختلاط پر مذہبِ اسلام کی دو ٹوک پابندی کا تقاضا یہ ہے کہ اگر عورت کو گھر سے باہر نکلنا اور اجنبی مردوں کے سامنے سے گزرنا پڑے تو وہ پردہ کر لے۔
