Author Information

Teresa Nordheim is thrilled to be diving into the spooky realm of kids' literature! The Ghostly Tales of North Central Texas is her first children's book, a companion to her book, Haunted North Central Texas. Her passion for writing began in third grade when she entered a writing contest (spoiler alert: she lost). Teresa went on to write over fifty articles for children's magazines, including Highlights for Children. With five books under her belt, she has already made a name for herself in the writing world. However, writing for a younger audience is a dream come true. Teresa works as a nurse during the day and becomes a paranormal detective at night, researching and investigating haunted locations. Although she didn't win, that contest in the third grade sparked a lifelong love for writing. This proves that some things-like stories and spooky spirits-endure forever. Along with a diverse career on stage and screen, Susan Hanfield is a prolific audiobook narrator with hundreds of titles to her credit. Susan is an AudioFile Earphones Award winner, three-time Audie Award finalist, and a Voice Arts Awards nominee. From her professional studio in Los Angeles, Susan's favorite fiction genres include literary fiction, historical romance, young adult, and science fiction/fantasy. Nonfiction genres include faith-based/inspirational, personal self-development, and business. Susan is known for her wide range of voices, accents, intonations, and her ability to bring the written story to life.
