He is the author of three previous books of Portland History: Hidden History of Portland (2013), Murder & Mayhem in Portland (2013) and Portland on the Take (2014). In addition, he keeps two popular blogs, Weird Portland and Slabtown Chronicle, and the podcast Murder by Experts. In 2013, she completed a master's degree at Portland State University in adult education, leadership and policy, with a master's certificate in teaching adult learners. She is the author of two books, including a volume of poetry, Blue Reverie in Smoke published by Oregon Greystone Press.
