Alice Ebert is a former award-winning journalist and newspaper editor, media manager and author of children's book 'Mummy has an Ouchie on her Tummy'.The book was 'born' from Alice's own experience preparing her toddler for the arrival of her second baby via c-section in 2023.Alice has a Bachelor of Journalism with a minor in Public Relations and with more than 15 years' experience in the media and communications industry, she's passionate about storytelling and converting tricky subjects into creative content everyone can understand.Alice lives on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, with her husband, two little boys and rescue greyhound.In her spare time she loves reading, cooking, playing netball, spending time with friends and family and enjoying a margarita (or two!) Cara is a dog-loving mum, bookworm and visual creative, who loves sharing their illustrative work with reader, amazing authors and her daughters. With an eclectic career which has included dog grooming, performing with Disney on Ice, and commercial design/illustration (even for the Wiggles!), Cara brings fun and exuberance to all her books and is now living the dream as a book designer for Scholastic Australia and a freelance illustrator.
