There are three sections in the book – section I has four chapters, dealing specifically theoretical constructions and representations. Varun Gulati teaches Indian English literature, postcolonial literature, Shakespeare and twentieth-century American literature at the University of Delhi. Garima Dalal teaches at the Linguistic Empowerment Cell of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
