Dr. Sarah Farrukh Dr. Sarah Farrukh is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh, UK, specializing in designing experimental rigs, fabricating materials, and conducting advanced data analysis for energy storage materials. She previously served as an Associate Professor at the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, where she co-founded the Membranes for Advanced Research Laboratory (MEMAR Lab). With over seven years of experience in academia and industry, her research encompasses energy storage, carbon capture, and wastewater treatment. She has authored more than 70 indexed publications, over 8 book chapters, and two books: Nano-Technology and Generation of Sustainable Hydrogen and Facilitated Transport Membranes (FTMs) for CO2 Capture: Overview and Future Trends. Her contributions have received over 1,500 citations, featuring an h-index of 24 and an i10-index of 48. She has secured three research grants and submitted three patents. Additionally, her work as editor and co-author on Multi-Layer Composite (MLC) Membranes for Gas Separation was funded by the EPSRC project (Grant No. EP/W027593/1). Engr. Syed Shujaat Karim Engr. Syed Shujaat Karim completed his MS in Chemical Engineering from the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. His work contributes to advancements in membrane technology and industrial solutions.. Dr. Xianfeng Fan Professor Xianfeng Fan, Chair of Particulate Materials Processing at the University of Edinburgh, UK, is a leading researcher in chemical engineering and materials science. Holding degrees in Chemical Engineering, Materials, and Metallurgy (MEng, MSc, PhD), his research focuses on particulate processing, multiphase flows, photocatalysts, and gas separation.
