OverviewPadraig O Mealoid has interviewed Alan Moore numerous times since 2008, perhaps more often than any other interviewer. Those interviews, many of which are no longer available online, are presented here. Subjects range from Marvelman (and Miracleman) - the subject of O Mealoid's first book, Poisoned Chalice: The Extremely Long and Incredibly Complex Story of Marvelman (and Miracleman) - and the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen series, to Moore's recent novel Jerusalem, and the forthcoming feature film The Show. In between they touch on Moore's views on life, death, and eternity, and much else - the state of the comics business, the 21st century, and the reasons behind the seemingly controversial subject matter of his comics work. This collection also contains perhaps the most famous interview of Moore's career, the so-called 'Last Alan Moore Interview?' from 2014, containing his forthright description of his own personal bete noire, Grant Morrison. And, just to round it all off, there's a recipe, because every book should have one.
