OverviewFinding the truth, no matter the cost. In 1917, Henry Carter and Etta Pearce are reporters for the Bisbee, Arizona newspaper. Following the backlash after Carter's scathing report on the deportation of striking IWW mine workers, their editor Cal Langley send the budding muckrakers to New Mexico to investigate the murder of a prominent Silver City rancher. There they discover that the killer may have been hired to eliminate the rancher, a fact that the trial being held in El Paso has ignored. Henry and Etta's muckraking continues in Phoenix as the pair exposes a political assassination that the perpetrator tries to hide using the Spanish Flu epidemic as cover. But this time their reporting might cost them their lives.
