Overview

Transversality of a universal nature, known as MTU, is not a theory in the strict sense of the term, but rather a method of global approach. More precisely, it is part of a scheme of human and material mediation in terms of decision-making. Mediation corroborates certain principles of reflection and practice (the mode of action) concerning the intellectual and creative capacities of the human being, according to the historical, political, economic, philosophical, social and religious evolutions of our societies, with the aim of resolving conflicts, whether civil or military. The author, who has many years' experience in this field - he was involved in the creation of the Forum for Peace in the Mediterranean, alongside a number of eminent personalities - attempts to provide a modest response to the phenomena that link man to violence.
