Brockmeier, MD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Division of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Brockmeier received his medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. In addition to serving as the team orthopedic surgeon for the University of Virginia athletic department, Dr. Brockmeier also serves as team surgeon for James Madison University and the Charlotte Bobcats NBA franchise.
