OverviewDavid and Michael Clarke became criminals in the 60's and were sent to prison for malicious wounding and carrying a fire arm without a license. Michael was sent to Maidstone Prison and David to Dover Borstal. On leaving Dover Borstal, in 1968 David had a 3 year career of Undetected crime until he experienced a sudden conversion to Christianity and turned his back on his criminal past. He became a Baptists minister and went on to Higher Education, and graduated with a Certificate in Education. He also Lectured in electronics at LutonCollege of Higher Education for 10 years and in 1987 he moved to Fareham to teach Electronic Servicing at Fareham College. He taught many students at Fareham College assisting them to obtain City and Guilds Qualifications. In 2001 he went on a Christian mission to the Philippines to help his brother who had been sentenced to prison for 16 years where he died of Tuberculosis in 2005.
