Author Information

Deirdre R. J. Head has authored and co-authored numerous children's books about civil rights and African American history. She graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 2016 and is currently working on getting a master's degree in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Aberystwyth University in Wales. She lives in Jackson, Mississippi with her husband. Jamie Hudalla studied graphic design, psychology, and English. She lives in Minnesota with four roommates and a shih tzu named Frodo. She hopes to become a professor of creative writing. Emily Hudd loves exploring new topics while writing children's books. When she isn't writing, she enjoys reading and swing dancing. She lives in the Twin Cities with her husband. Martha London lives in Minnesota. She is a writer and educator. When Martha isn't writing, you can find her hiking in the woods. Carrie Myers lives in New York City with her husband, three children, a bunny, and a bamboo plant. Anna Saxton is an author and educator. Trained as a teacher, she began her career teaching middle school English. She now works as a writer. Her favorite things include good books, strong tea, and the great outdoors. Henrietta Toth has written several nonfiction books for children. She is an editor with twenty years of experience in academic publishing. She has learned a lot by working on books about many different topics. Now she has learned more about the internet and the music industry.
