Author Information

Salma Ajani is the founder and the head of the Montessori Ivy League Academy. She has her M.S in Education (Master of Science with specialization in Montessori Early Childhood Education). She has been awarded lifetime AMS credential (American Montessori Society) upon completion of her Montessori Graduate Level Program. Ms. Salma Ajani is also fully accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). She is also affiliated via the school with the Montessori Foundation, the International Montessori Council, and the International Montessori Society.She is also a graduate of University of Southern California, majoring in Communications, and minoring in Business Communications. After graduating from USC, she had an opportunity to work with the national bestselling author and internationally known speaker, Anthony Robbins, which opened up a whole new world of possibilities for her. She learned about herself and others; the talent we all have access to, and the transformations we can create in others. Ms. Ajani decided to continue her research in human potential. She was awarded many certifications from Ericsonian Hypnosis, Advance Hypnosis, and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and continued her studies to become a licensed training specialist. Since then she has worked as a Professional/Motivational Speaker and has counseled many families from all walks of life, and of all ages, until she discovered the legacy of Maria Montessori after the birth of her son. Salma Ajani's goal is to create a learning environment where she can combine her previous expertise and experience with an authentic Montessori curriculum and methodology, and to build a place, where students feel safe and excited to come; an enriched environment that would provide opportunity for growth and mastery. Salma Ajani lives with her family in South Florida.
