Prior to that, he had served in Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, Bhubaneswar (An Autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) as an Assistant Professor (senior scale) in last 14 years. He has been awarded PhD in the year 2010 in Business Administration (Tourism) by The University of Burdwan, W.B. He has obtained Master in Tourism Management and bachelor in Hotel management (BHM). He has also qualified UGC-NET and UGC-JRF. Dr. Biswas has more than 20 years of teaching experience in MBA (Tourism), BBA (Tourism), BHM and DHM, in various government and private institutions.
