OverviewThe book is a detailed guide of scenic routes through the countryside, allowing the reader to travel on roads that are not normally travelled by tourists. All the routes have been driven and accessed by the authors. The idea behind the book is that the reader will be able to follow the routes unaided and enjoy both the wonderful motorcycling roads and the beautiful scenery. The book starts with an introduction about safety and driving conditions in Ireland and Irish roads - very important if you come from abroad. The routes described not only give the necessary directions, but also useful hints about places to see along the way, and information about the places you pass. It also contains useful hints for travelling to Ireland.
