Overview

This is a story about Helen, who developed dementia, and her daughter Trudy, who became her caregiver. Mother-daughter relationships can be challenging and theirs was--then dementia entered their lives. Dementia, a cunning intruder, can mask itself over a period of years. Trudy Way lives with her husband Ron, and two cats in Arizona. Both meditate and write (Trudy and Ron, not the cats). They are parents to six children and nine exceptionally smart grandchildren.
