Author Information

Caitlin Willow is a 25 year old artist and illustrator who travels around the world and lives with her boyfriend, dog and 3 cats. Most recently based in Thailand. She is a self-taught artist. This is her first coloring-in book. She is also the designer and owner of WillowApparel on Etsy where she sells hand-painted graphic T-shirts with her unique designs. I have always been a creative spirit thanks mostly to my mother's own natural creativity, it's genetic! My true interest and what drew me to the arts was portraiture and/or caricatures of people. I've had a passion for drawing since a very young age when I would draw and color in my own princesses and fairies. I was particularly inspired by my mother's collection of Flower Fairy alphabet cards by Cicely Mary Barker and three particular books: Gnomes and Fairies by Brian Froud and Alan Lee and A Mouses Tale by Wayne Anderson. To this day these illustrations hold memories and a strong sense of nostalgia. I knew from a young age that I too wanted to draw such beautiful illustrations when I 'grew up' - Caitlin Willow
