OverviewCountless individuals walk beaches daily searching for frosted nuggets sea glass. Readers are invited on a quiet walk along the shoreline with the narrator, where they visit and pay homage to an old friend, Mother Beach. Several pieces of colorful, weather-worn glass are picked up along the way and carefully inspected within the reflective verse. Free-hand sketches and watercolor washes provide a lovely backdrop for the author's personal journey of discovery and wonder. Young listeners will enjoy the easy rhythm of the verse as they search the pages for hidden treasures. Back matter includes fun facts about the color and origins of beach and sea glass. Beneath the matte-laminated, illustrated jacket is a hardcover of textured, speckled oatmeal paper and the glistening face of mother beach. --Patty Merski Full Product DetailsAuthor: Patty Merski , Chanda PatelPublisher: Skeezel Press Imprint: Skeezel Press Dimensions: Width: 20.10cm , Height: 1.00cm , Length: 17.30cm Weight: 0.263kg ISBN: 9780974721729ISBN 10: 0974721727 Pages: 40 Publication Date: 01 July 2023 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Hardback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In Print ![]() This item will be ordered in for you from one of our suppliers.
