Author Information

A 40-year Southern Nevadan, Dickensheets is the deputy editor of Desert Companion magazine. Before that, he was editor ofLas Vegas CityLife, editor in chief of theLas Vegas Weekly, managing editor ofLas Vegas Lifemagazine, and held various positions at theLas Vegas Sun, including assistant city editor, assistant features editor and columnist. He's edited two previous anthologies of fiction and essays for the Las Vegas Writes project,Fade, Sag, CrumbleandWish You Were Here. His work has appeared inPlayboy,Esquire, and other magazines.
