Overview

This book talks about how we should rejoice in the joy of our salvation no matter what we are going through in life. It include sections for comments and discussion for group studies. For the joy of the Lord is our strength. Happiness is temporary, but joy is everlasting. Although we endure affliction, pain, disappointment, and trials, we must keep the faith that our weeping and our mourning will be turned into joy. Weeping may endure for a day but joy comes in the morning. The greater the suffering, the greater the reward. Our suffering in not in vain. We labor not in vain. In due season, we shall reap a harvest that we will not have enough room to store. In our working and our laboring, we must be patient. We have the fruit of the spirit, which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith. We must endure hardness like a good soldier. We have the power to cast down the power of darkness and shine light in a dark world around us. We have to power to influence change by spreading the love of God through our praise, our song, and our dance.

Lorraine Watkins is a 12 time author who specializes in religious books and applications. She has been an ordained minister since year 2000 in the churches of the Lord Jesus Christ Apostolic. She holds a BS degree in Human Services from Gardner Webb University. She has ministered in many capacities in church and in outreach community, revival, bible study groups, TV, and radio. Writing is her passion and she also enjoy speaking for women groups and for special events. She has one daughter, Jacqueline C. Berghauser who is a registered nurse, and a teen-aged grandson, Marcario. She will continue writing books as God directs her to. Lorraine also enjoys writing and directing plays.
