Kenneth D. Wright grew up in West Los Angeles. In 1960, Following a mission to Germany, he married his high school sweetheart, Marilynne Webb, in the Los Angeles Temple. The couple has six children, twenty-two grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Ken received his Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Brigham Young University in 1962 and worked in aerospace as a mathematician and scientific programmer until returning to school for an MBA. He retired as a systems consultant for Computer Associates International in the year 2002. Following retirement, Ken and Marilynne served a twenty-three month mission to the New York South mission. The two presently reside in Logan, Utah. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 2010.
