Philip Cowley is Professor of Politics at Queen Mary University, London . His recent books include The British General Election of 2010 and Sex, Lies and the Ballot Box; Robert Ford is Senior Lecturer in Politics at the University of Manchester. His latest book is Revolt on the Right: Explaining Support for the Radical Right in Britain.
