Author Information

Rita M. Madison was born and raised in New York City where she attended some of the finer schools. When she received her first library card at the age of five, she became a veracious reader. At the age of six she was given a little purple composition note book and would draw pictures and write stories. The practice of writing stuck with her winning her first writing contest in the second grade where she earned a new book from the school counselor for writing an excellent Essay. Later during her teenage years, Rita used her writing skills as a tool for counseling starting her on her way to a lifelong journey of writing. Rita always looked forward to seeing her writing published and in bookstores, libraries, homes and even churches around the world. Prayers of a Broken wife and the 2 volume series was a way to express her writing again in a counseling circumstance as she navigated through the trials and tribulations of broken relationships. Rita is the mother of 3 children and 3 granddaughters. She lives in Decatur, Georgia with her family and friends.
