Overview

When the peddler has another visit from a band of mischievous monkeys, he is dismayed because he can’t sell any caps! So he returns home, only to find that the monkeys have followed him, right foot, left foot, all the way, and they sit in the tree outside his house, dropping banana peels and making a mess! And if that wasn’t bad enough, the monkeys are still not done with the peddler! They follow him to town and copy his every move. Will the monkeys’ antics ever stop Yet despite their monkey business, they just might help the peddler sell his caps after all! Esphyr Slobodkina and her longtime collaborator, Ann Marie Mulhearn Sayer, had many long conversations as they planned More Caps for Sale before Esphyr's death in 2002. With simple text and illustrations, and the charm and humor of the original, this sequel is the perfect book for early readers.
