OverviewThe latter half of this century is marked by the explosive growth of global commerce. ""Moral Issues and Multinational Corporations"" analyzes the nature, circumstances and prospects for moral sensitivity in multinational corporations. The major areas of difficulty include: enormous corporate wealth and vast size, global economic and cultural diversity, the mobility of corporations and their products and political manipulation of corporations by national governments. These issues come to intense focus in South Africa, which is examined separately. The conclusion addresses the question of whether future conditions may allow higher and more consistent standards of moral conduct for global commerce.
