Jane Collister is an artist living in Vermont who loves to swim in its rivers and hike its mountains, and who has been in the unforgettable presence of moose. Inspired by both the creature and its name, she found herself in a flowing stream of humorous wordplay with corresponding comic images that gave birth to this book. These creative ideas continue to pop-up in her mind, and friends still call her up anytime day or night to exclaim, ""I've got one! I've got one! How about ""Les Mooserables!""
