He studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Lampeter University before enrolling at the West Wales School of Art, Carmarthen and then undertaking a Crafts Council of Ireland Ceramics Design and Skills Course in 2004. His studio is situated at Llanferran on the north coast of the St. David's peninsula.
