Overview

"""Monster Spotter's Guide to North America"" is a campy, fun and informative guide to more than 100 legendary monsters reported to inhabit the continent. The book is catalogued geographically and designed to have a ""bird-watching guide"" look and feel.A fun introductory chapter offers an introduction to monster spotting, as well as information on the different categories of monsters (hairy monsters, flying monsters, lake monsters, etc.). In addition to cataloguing both well-known and lesser-known beasts, the book explores how various monsters from different areas exhibit similarities and may actually be part of the same phenomena. With a monster glossary, a guide to monster carcasses, a remedial course in common monster knowledge and more, this book is the perfect guide for anyone who might want to make the search for the existence of monsters a recreational hobby (or for anyone who simply likes monsters)."
