Cassi Plate is a writer, curator and former ABC broadcaster. This is her second book of cultural history, after 'Restless Spirits' (2005). 'Monster and Colossus' is inspired by the discovery of 100 letters between her father and the writer of the first modern Greek novel. She lives and works between Sydney and the South Coast.
