Andrews, sam'l higbee, roswell elmer, zenas hitchcock, junior, and lemuel hitchcock, and their associates, to form, open, and hold a lodge of Mark Master Masons in the Town of Claremont, in the State of New Hampshire, from the date hereof until the next meeting of the General Grand Royal Arch Chapter, unless it should be my pleasure to sooner revoke the same) which lodge shall be called Union Mark Lodge, No. I, and I do hereby appoint daniel barber to be the first Master, stephen rice to be the first Senior Warden, and nathan bingham to be the first Junior Warden, divesting them with full power and authority to assemble upon lawful and proper oc casions and to perform all such acts as have been and ought to be done for the advantage of Free Masonry.
