Author Information

Innocent Kamwa is a Research Scientist at Hydro-Quebec Research Institute, specializing in system dynamics, power grid control, wind energy, and storage integration studies. He became Chief Scientist for smart grid in 2009, and Head of Power System and Mathematics in 2014, overseeing the Hydro-Quebec Network Simulation Centre, and Acting Scientific Director of IREQ in 2016. He holds Adjunct Professor positions at McGill University and Universite Laval. Chao Lu is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering Department at Tsinghua University. His research interests include complex system analysis and control in smart grid, wide-area measurement systems, and applications of energy storage systems. He has published more than 130 academic papers and been awarded ten academic and scientific awards. He is an IEEE senior member, and also serves on the boards of key journals, including IET Generation, Transmission & Distribution. Lipeng Zhu received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2018. He is currently working as a Senior Research Assistant in The Center for Electrical Energy Systems, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China. His research interests mainly include PMU data analysis, spatial-temporal data analytics, and data-driven power system stability and control.
