Overview

Mommy, I Want You to Know is a touching book to read with children. It is a story of love between a little boy and his working mother, and explores the emotional aspects of balancing family, work and life. I love you up to the sky, Where the birdies fly. That's how much I love you. This is an excellent conversation starter for parents and their children, teachers, guidance counselors and others.

Reviews

The book is a beautiful account from a son to his working mother. We all know children of working parents. The book is authentically written and beautifully illustrated. This amazingly sweet book did bring a tear to my eyes. It is thought-provoking and can inspire dialogue that will help families adapt to new life stages or roles. I really would like to read it to my students. I think it would have a positive impact and encourage conversation about their personal situations. It would also be a wonderful book for guidance counselors to use.
