Overview

"THIS BOOK IS ABOUT PARENTAL DEATH. It deals with sensitive topics of grief and bereavement during childhood and is framed from a Christian perspective. It is based on a true story. ""My name is Molly. I am seven years old. I love the color pink, and I love playing dress-up. I like playing with my friends and riding my bike. Most of all, I love my family!"" At the tender age of seven, Molly lost both of her parents. Fortunately, her beloved grandmother takes Molly and her siblings in and gives them a loving home."

Gail Fagler is the co-author of Mom & Dad are in Heaven (I'm Only Seven.) She has a passion for helping children grow through trials and tribulations. For eighteen years, Gail taught three-year-old preschool at Chapin Baptist Church in Chapin, South Carolina. She also worked many years as the Volunteer Coordinator for Meals on Wheels in Columbia, South Carolina. She found inspiration to begin writing after the loss of both her daughter, Laura, and her son-in-law, Mark. They left behind three children, ages seven, twelve, and seventeen. Gail immediately moved from playing the role of a grandmother to the role of a mother. She believes that her time working with children prepared her to become a full-time single parent to three children at the age of 68. While this can be a tremendous challenge for her at times, she makes it through each day because of her faith in God. She writes to help children during times of grief.Gail has lived all over the United States, including Michigan, Arizona, and South Carolina. She currently resides in Myrtle Beach. In her free time, Gail is very artistic and enjoys crafting. She has an Etsy shop where she sells wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and more.
