Author Information

Carla is a special needs educator of young children, dog behaviourist and trainer. Carla has a Masters degree in Trauma Aware Education and a Graduate Certificate in ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) and II (Intellectual Disability).She has extensive knowledge and experience in working with young children, and in particular, with neurodiverse children and is currently studying the Diploma of Auslan.Carla has local dog behaviour and training certification and has completed behaviour and psychology training with international experts in this field.This mix of qualifications, skills and experience places Carla in a perfect position to deliver an educational and entertaining story on how to raise the perfect puppy for very young readers. Katy Harris is an illustrator and graphic designer from Brisbane, Australia. With over 18 years in the creative industries, her career has spanned animation, multimedia, graphic design and illustration. She has 2 kids and a bad habit of collecting guinea pigs.
