Amazon 5.0 out of 5 stars Lucid, useful and fun, 11 Jan 2004 By A Customer Making a german grammar text readable is a major challenge in itself. This volume is divided into two sections: grammar and functional usage. Not only can you study the grammar but you are able to see and learn how it is used and abused in everyday life from introductions, ordering food to attending a funeral. The style is extremely clear, sometimes humorous and always with excellent cross-referencing. None of the dense presentation or detail that often accompanies this topic past beginner’s level. Highly recommended
