Author Information

Professor Junliang Zhang obtained his Ph.D Degree from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Professor Shengming Ma in 2002. He then conducted his post-doctoral research at University of Cologne (Humboldt Fellowship) and University of Chicago. He started his independent career as a full professor at East China Normal University since the end of 2006. Professor Zhang has authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications and has received numerous scientific awards, including the 'National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars' and the 'Thieme Chemistry Journal Award'. He has written five book chapters and is a co-editor for ""Comprehensive Organic Synthesis II, Vol 4"".
