Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMiakpo Emiaso is President of Area Customary Court with exclusive original jurisdiction for customary law causes and matters. Called to the Nigerian bar in 1989, he has practised law at all levels of court in Nigeria including the Supreme Court. He holds a Masters Degree in Law and a Diploma in Journalism. Emiaso has worked with the Nigerian Observer as a Senior Reporter covering the Nigerian National Assembly in the second republic and as Senior Sub-editor with the New Nigerian Newspapers. He was West African Correspondent for Seatrade Magazine published in the United Kingdom and has been a lecturer in law with the Times Journalism Institute, Lagos and an Examiner/Assessor with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Emiaso is the author of the best-selling Co-operative Societies Law and Practice in Nigeria (2011), Landlords and Tenants under Nigerian Laws (2012) and How to Recover Properties of Dead Relations - Letters of Administration Law and Practice in Nigeria (2017).
