Called to the Nigerian bar in 1989, he has practised law at all levels of court in Nigeria including the Supreme Court. He holds a Masters Degree in Law and a Diploma in Journalism. Emiaso has worked with the Nigerian Observer as a Senior Reporter covering the Nigerian National Assembly in the second republic and as Senior Sub-editor with the New Nigerian Newspapers. He was West African Correspondent for Seatrade Magazine published in the United Kingdom and has been a lecturer in law with the Times Journalism Institute, Lagos and an Examiner/Assessor with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
