Reviews

Chris Megson's Modern British Playwriting: The 1970s is a compelling addition to the growing volume of books surveying and examining late twentieth-century British playwriting...Chris Megson's Modern British Playwriting: The 1970s is an outstanding example of its genre, giving an account of a remarkably self-critiquing period in British theatre history and which, with its own searching dynamic, offers with intellectual honesty a clear and thought-provoking interrogation of those times. The end Notes, Select Bibliography and the Index are a model of their kind. -- Christopher O'Shaghnessy Platform
