Reviews

Moby Plays the Flute is as heartwarming as it is heartfelt. We have all felt, at least once, the need to quit when things got rough, and Moby is no different with her flute. While the story teaches the importance of perseverance and hard work, it's the illustrations that truly make the book. Breathtaking and unique, each page is indeed a work of art. I can't wait to share this book with my nephew. This is a beautifully illustrated children's picture book which teaches the importance of perseverance and hard work. Moby learns about passion, patience and happiness from a flute which she receives as a birthday gift from her dad. It shows us never to give up and to believe in oneself. The illustrations and colors are splendid. Some of the illustrations were so good that I kept staring at them for a long time. The level of finesse, detail, colors, shades and creativity in each illustration is immense. The facial expressions of Moby and other kids were very cute and adorable. The story itself is very heartwarming. In a playful but not preachy tone it shows how kids can find their passion and work hard to achieve their dreams. It touches upon the sensitive relationship of father and daughter. It shows how dads inspire and encourage their kids. There is also an element of mystery which will attract the young readers. I read it to my kids and they loved the story and illustrations. I am sure it will become a favorite read, a comfort read which kids would want to come back to again and again. This book has amazing story woven with beautiful words and vibrant visuals. Each and every page shows creative and colorful view given by the artist, which fits very well with the theme of the page. Every page is very well thought and provides beautiful window to character Moby . The paintings made in this book are so full of life with vibrant colors, that it will lighten up your mood. Going through the story with these rich paintings is a pure joy. Apart from beautiful story with a great message, kids will learn so much from colorful visual illustration of the world around Moby . Story teaches great life lessons for kids as they read through the story. I'm very happy that I've gotten a chance to read this book and enjoyed the wonderful paintings.
