Overview

This is the first novel from Al Roberts, an 89-year-old, legally blind veteran. He calls it a fable to distinguish it from its being called something more pretentious, and for good reason. He can't do research since he's legally blind, so, why isn't he sitting in a rocking chair drinking coffee? That's what he was doing when this this thing started, and once it did get started, it wouldn't leave him alone. It's a story about a Jewish family of international bankers living in Paris that was decimated by the Nazi invaders during World War II. However, there was a sole survivor -- a young daughter in college in America. She was totally unaware of the plight that had been visited on her family and the family business until four years after the fact. When she did hear about this situation, she and a couple of friends made their way back across the Atlantic in war time, and began the adventure of restoring the Company. An engaging story of that success which was achieved after she found peace and joy in accepting Jesus as her savior and Lord, which she then used as a springboard to help transform many other lives.
