OverviewMixed Mense (Mixed People) is a Heal The Hood Practical Hip Hop Cultural Education School that Emile YX? created to develop a circular learning pedagogy by sharing elements of Hip Hop Culture and Alternative Afrocentric Information via LIVED EXPERIENCE through song lyrics, conversation, discussions, dance, plays, performance and LIFE. The main part of the project lasted fro four years and then members of the crew joined heal The Hood Project as facilitators, while others occasionally work with Heal The Hood Project on productions and other events.
