It's been too long since I returned to Red Hart. Now, I'm worried it's too late. I always intended to head back to Montana. Hell, I never intended to leave, only circumstance and a little obsession pulled Eve and me in two different directions. It's taken me far too long to get everything in order, but now we're free of the stalker who has haunted us both for too long I can finally head back north and leave Texas behind. Only I'm not sure that's what Eve wants any more. But a little thing like a cross country trip at Christmas won't stop me from finding out why she's gone quiet on me.
